Family-run
Valentine, our lead mechanic, spent more than 15 years as a dealership technician before putting his tools in a van. Now the shop comes to you. We tell you what's wrong, what it costs and which parts to buy before we start, and if we can't find the problem or can't fix it, you don't pay for the diagnostic. We stand behind our work.

Before you call
Do you charge a travel fee?
No, not within about 20 miles of Sacramento. We're based in the Pocket area. If you're farther out, ask us; we keep our area tight so we can get to everyone on time.
Do I need to buy the parts?
Usually, yes, and we tell you exactly what to buy. When the parts are in your name, so is their warranty. If you're not sure what to get, we'll help you choose.
What if you can't find the problem?
A diagnostic is $90 and usually takes about an hour. If it needs longer, we tell you why before we continue. If we can't find the problem or can't fix it, you don't pay for the diagnostic.
Where can you work on my car?
Your driveway, the street in front of your home, your work parking lot or the roadside: anywhere it's safe to work and the property allows it.
What's in a pre-purchase inspection?
It's $100 flat. We check the body and paint, fluids and leaks, engine, transmission, suspension and steering, brakes (pads measured), tires (date codes and life left), electrical, A/C and interior, scan every computer module and road test the car. You get photos of the small details and a PDF report with everything we found, sorted by priority, plus our buy or don't-buy recommendation.
Is there anything you don't do?
Engine or transmission swaps, and coding or programming computer modules. For anything else, call or text and ask.
Are you licensed?
Yes. We're registered with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, ARD #316816.
